What I need

By the time it came to the edge of the Forest, the stream had grown up, so that it was almost a river, and, being grown-up, it did not run and jump and sparkle along as it used to do when it was younger, but moved more slowly. For it knew now where it was going, and it said to itself, "There is no hurry. We shall get there some day." But all the little streams higher up in the Forest went this way and that, quickly, eagerly, having so much to find out before it was too late.

Anyone want to meet me for a game of Poohsticks? Honestly, nothing in the world sounds better to me right now.

HA! You just solved a mystery for me. Mason has been running around talking about poo sticks for days & we have not been able to figure it out. He got a new Pooh DVD as an Easter gift from grandma, but we haven't watched it from start to finish with him. Poohsticks, right. Matt was like, "What's a poo stick?"

Great quote! Have you read the Tao of Pooh?
Another great book.

Why can't a stream "run and jump and sparkle?"
